Goyer Gushes on Geeky Projects

Wizard has a short interview with David S. Goyer, the director and writer of the upcoming "Magneto" spin-off movie. Goyer has long been a fan favorite for doing everything from writing a classic run on "JSA" to co-writing "Batman Begins." Now, with another comic-book origin movie on it's way, Goyer talks about how the movie will be the beginning of Xavier and Magneto's friendship.
“We’re scouting and budgeting now. It’s the origins of the X-Men with Magneto and Charles Xavier. We've done some scouts, and it mostly takes place in Europe and Argentina. We're doing budgets and we're sort of halfway crewed up, and so that'll be the big question: whether we can bring it in for a price."
He goes on to talk about other geek-tastic projects such as perhaps directing an episode of "Heroes: Origins," and how he and Geoff Johns are writing a top-secret comic that will be post "Final Crisis."
I am intrigued to see the "Magneto" movie, espicially if Goyer is behind the helm, but what I am most interested in is the post-"Final Crisis" story arc, since "Final" is shrouded in so much secrecy, but I suppose only time will tell with "Magneto," which arrives in theatres in 2009, and his new comic story to hit stands sometime next year.

What's the picture you're using from? If I remember right, it reminds me of X-Men #1 I think, but it didn't look quite as good as your image.
