Did Spider-Man 3 scare you guys away from covering mainstream comics? I would like to see more Marvel and DC related shows.

      Thanks

A.D. really impressed me. The panel of the comic book guy's DVD collection in Ch 2 was weirdly moving, and I don't think that's because I really care about DVDs a lot.

So I liked the segment a lot a lot. Nice coverage of some of the finer points. I really want to see the next chapter.....

soooo i was surpised when i saw the new look, not bad....it kind of confused me and things, but all in all its ok, the episode was ok, u guys kind of had a pull list but just graphic novels and the episode felt "cold" if you know what i mean, i dont know what other way to put it...but i kno you guys are experamenting with differnt stuff.

      Hey skb1,

Josh is doing an awesome job of recreating the look and feel of my old apartment, and he's been meticulous about stuff like DVD racks, bookshelves, etc.... For instance, when it came time for him to draw my bookshelves he asked me to send him a list of ten GNs that I wanted to be shown (everything shown in the comic is from what was actually on there). The DVD rack comes from photos I had. Showing specific things like that is what makes A.D. real and emotional—any longtime comics fan is going to have some of the same things I did, and even if it's just one thing (that's also yours) you see in the comic, it's going to hit home pretty hard.

Wow, that was really interesting. I really dug Shooting War, also from Smith Mag (highly recommended), but hadn't checked out A.D. yet. Thanks, Pulp Secret! Emailing lots of my friends about this one and sticking it on the old blog.

Nice change of pace from the usual, but to be expected, focus on Marvel and DC. I like the focus on smaller publsihers and I like the mention of upcoming graphic novels. Considering the latter are entry points to comics for more and more adult readers, it's a feature worth marketing.

Did you guys give up on the format of the show? I guess it's easy to loose steam. But I like the on the street 3 guy comic coverage with the funny. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FUNNY!!

I applaud you guys trying to keep it fresh, but I really miss the way the early shows were produced and the content they contained.

I don't mind the indie stuff but not every show.

I dont mind some occasional indy content, if the book is truly exceptional, but I come here to see mainstream news and if you guys arent going to do that I'm going to have to move on.

A wonderful episode. Music fit very well, and your pacing was spot on. Hearing from the Dr. that was featured in the novel was great, to see his real self and then his comicbook self. Sounds like an interesting and powerful work.

I really loved this episode. The AD segment was good and meaty, I'm going to be clicking over that way right after this. Plain Janes also looks purty good.

You guys do a great job on covering all sides to comics, that rules! I am often swayed to purchase a comic that I may have glanced over on the shelf of my local comic shop. This is the kind of show that I would like to see on a sat or sunday morning, insted of 800 infomercials.
Keep up the Fantastic work, let the Secret out to the whole world!! P.S. what up pete my brothers keybored is sticky.
