Justin, I have only one question. Why so serious?

Great interview. I had no idea he was so into comics. I only knew him as a producer, not thinking he actually knew what he was doing. Boy was I wrong, what a cool life story in comics.
I'd heard about the college comic course, but had no idea it was him.
I'll definately be keeping my eye out for his name from now on.

      Thanks guys!

Wow, I had no idea Uslan could talk about himself so uncomfortably for such a long time.

I appreciate his part in bringing Batman to the screen, but the dude isn't Jack Kirby or Will Eisner. He talks about himself as if he feels he's the man who brought us fandom and hasn't got any credit.

This is why a good interviewer helps make someone look more humble and more interesting. No one wants to hear someone talk incessantly about how important they are.

No disrespect, I just wish you could inject some Pete, Justin and Alex goodness into these bits so they don't seem like stock footage of people promoting themselves at junkets.

      Something to think about?

      Cheers! I love your show!

Stuffdaddy: You are the reason why these comment posts on fanboy sites like this aren't taken serious at all. Learn your history, especially if it's a subject you love, which you obviously do. Have some respect. Take some initiative. Otherwise, you seem like some type of poser. Comic writers and artists do have anything to do with bringing charcaters to the screen. Nor did they create the characters. Nor do they have relationships with the creators or the property owners to bring them to the screen. And to bring them to the screen in the right, historically correct way, is harder then you can ever imagine. So don't even try to. Uslan has been reponsable for some of the greatest comic films of all time, even if the studios screwed some of them up by putting merchandise ahead of story. If it wasn't for Uslan, you would have the Batman franchise, Constantine, The Spirit, the upcoming Shazam, The Shadow and Doc Savage. The only reason why these are made, and made so that true fans can appreciate them (obviously unlike yourself), is that Uslan had the amazing relationships with people like Eisner and Kane, where they knew that only someone like Uslan could make them happen - and make them happen right. Again Stuffdaddy, learn your history before you try sounding like you know what you are talkiung about. If you don't, you'll be damned by repeating your same mistakes.

      Best

And btw, I meant "Comic writers and artists do NOT have anything to do with bringing characters to the screen". as well as "If it wasn't for Uslan, you would NEVER have had the Batman franchise, Constantine, The Spiritm the upcoming Shazam, The Shadow" and "Doc Savage".

I didn't want to confuse you into think ing you were correct in any way, Stuffdaddy.

      Best always,

      Nice Interview.

      But I agree with stuffdaddy.
He talks about his life like hes freakin Stan Lee.

And Manga is not the future of comics. Its an entirely different artform.
