Batman vs. Guy Gardner (Justice League #5?)
      One punch!

To quote Blue and Gold, "One punch! Bwah-ha-ha!!!!" What a great build up and then it was over with one punch. Priceless!

Gotta make another call out for The Boys. If you dropped this book during the Russia 4 part arc, you're really missing something now. I think the thing that hurt that Russia arc was that artist that spelled Robertson. Rob has been back and he's better than ever with this run! Ennis said this book out does Preacher. I wish that were true, but, I'm still waiting for that "next" Preacher. Not to say this book is bad, but, it's no Preacher!

Gotta agree with Alex about that cliffhanger with Wolverine from back in the day when they fought the Hellfire Club the first time. That panel was the coolest thing I remember from that Claremont/Byrne run.

I'd have to add when the Avengers took on Korvac from that same era as X-Men.

Loved the finale at the Alamo in Preacher too. More currently I'd have to go with Walking Dead # 48. Damn, that was a slaughter!

I don't know if these are considered fights, but I'm going to give the two best beat downs.

1.) Herc smashing Clone Thor (Civil War)
2.) Real Thor beating Iron Man after Iron Man cloned him

Also, I really loved the fight with Punisher vs The Russian, & Punisher vs Bulls Eye (I'm not even a Punisher fan, but he does have his moments.)

Two of my favorite comic battles are one from the X-men Dark Phoenix Saga, X-Men vs. The Shi'Ar Imperium over the life of Jean Grey, I think this is great because the fight had a lot of emotional intensity because of the X-men's attachment to Jean and in the end she commits suicide to stop any possible threat she could pose to the universe which made the overall battle seem bitterly pointless. The second would be from New Teen Titans vol. 2 the Titans vs. The Terror of Trigon, another emotional fight because of Raven. Also this was a fight that the Titans had no chance of winning because Trigon had already taken over the world, and it literally took a miracle for them to save the world from Trigon. I feel these team battles where one of the members lives are at stake are the best because this adds meaning to the fight instead of a sort of who's stronger or better than who.

one of my favorite fights is when the new avengers rescued echo and took on skrullectra and the Hand leinel yu's art is freakin awsome!!!

ahh leo Xmen vs the shiar was great. they even put that into the 90's cartoon, one of the best episodes.
My favorite fight would have to be the Ultimates vs. Hulk, it really showed the Hulks power and how scary that would be if it was real

gotta say Superman vs Doomsday as one of my favorite fights in the Superman: Doomsday movie. In comics I rather liked the Maxx vs Mako, with that weird cartooney Mr Gone doing commentary the whole time.

i fear Hack/Slash may've jumped the shark with the SG crossover. it seemed a bit.... "product placement-y"

as per the fights, Batman Vs. Superman in The Dark Knight Returns. maybe it's just that i like seeing Superman get his ass kicked, but the build up and the execution were a perfect way to end the series.

My brain just exploded from the sudden rush of "product placement" jokes.

Beggers can't be choosers i guess. Regardless, I appreciate you reviewing "The Jokers Asylum." I don't exactally agree with you, I feel that it did a good job of telling a one shot story that didnt need to be featured in something like "Batman" or "Detective Comics." I also liked the different way they showed the Joker as a "monster." That however is just my 2c. Thanks again guys!

Hack/Slash Annual featuring The Suicide Girls and In Odd We Trust

First up it's an early review of Hack/Slash Annual.  This book hasn't been released yet, so this is your chance to get a first look.  This novel features the Suicide Girls. Alex loves it and Justin agrees that you should definitely pick it up.  Then we look at Dean Koontz' In Odd We Trust.  Both Alex and Justin think this book is a good example of Manga written in a very American way.  During the Speed Round we check out Blue Beetle #28, Joker's Asylum #1, The Boys #20, Punisher War Journal #21, The Atom #25.  Then Stephanos writes in, "What are your favorite comic book fights?"  Watch and see what their answers were.
